Background. 

Richard completed a full career in the Royal Navy serving at sea and ashore including the Ministry of Defence where he worked with the Armed Forces Pay Review Body and received the OBE for leading the RN input to the Review of Service Conditions for the Armed Forces of the 21st Century.

Richard left the Royal Navy to undertake the position of Bursar at the prestigious Wellington School which he held for 11 years prior to his recent retirement to spend more time on mediation and his thriving publishing business.

He is also a Director of the Wellington School (Somerset) Trading Company and a Director of an Employers Committee (Ltd Company) for the wind-up of a national pension scheme.

Richard is a member of the Civil Mediation Council and is on the list of mediators maintained by the Bar Council of England and Wales and the Law Society.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
